The Natural park Serra Gelada it’s a beautiful natural setting away from the bustle of the city, where you can walk, do sports or just rest enjoying incredible views.
This natural environment has great natural value and is home to exceptionally valuable vegetation. It is one of the best preserved protected areas in Alicante, and it is a small mountain range 6 kilometers long.
Serra Gelada is formed by a relief that rises abruptly over the plains of Benidorm, l’Alfà s del Pi and Altea, and gives rise, on its coastline, to cliffs of more than 300 meters.
If you want to know these cliffs, their surroundings and the views they offer, you can go through its many hiking routes. One of them is the one that takes place from Benidorm to Albir, where you can contemplate the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea and see the Island of Benidorm from there. They are just over 10 km and it allows you to travel the path that connects both ends of the Natural Park Serra Gelada. This option is interesting if you have the possibility of organizing transportation at one end of the route.
